John Nicholls has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association.  The election took place at the annual business meeting during the association’s 61st annual Conference and Show held in Greensboro, NC.  After receiving 74% of the votes cast, Nicholls stated that he was "humbled and honored to be able to give back to an industry that has given so much to me and my family."

Nicholls is the President of Nicholls Auction Marketing Group, Inc. which is headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, and specializes in the marketing and sale of real estate and commercial assets.  A second generation auctioneer, Nicholls’ Father, Charles, founded their company in 1968.

Headquartered in Overland Park, KS, the National Auctioneers Association represents the interests of almost 5,000 auctioneers in the United States, Canada and across the world.
