The Nicholls Auction Marketing Group Team attended the Annual Virginia Auctioneer’s Association Educational Convention in Charlottesville, VA, on Jauary 13-15.  Over 125 auctioneers from all over the Commonweatlh attended the three day event which garnered television coverage from 4 networks.

The Nicholls Team took home five first place awards for marketing excellence, Kelly Strauss and John NIcholls were recognized for completing there terms on the VAA Board of Directors.  Nicholls Team members, Craig Damewood was honored with his induction into the VAA Hall of Fame, and Brian Damewood was named 2011 Virginia Auctioneer of the Year.  Nicholls’ Director of Marketing, Shields Jones, was installed as the President of the VAA, and Nicholls Richmond representative, Jerome Clark was the Convention Chair person.
